Ransburg Scout Reservation has a vibrant Order of the Arrow program.

Monday is Fellowship Night. All Arrowmen in camp are invited to enjoy fellowship and games after dinner on Monday.

Tuesday is “Sash Night”. All Arrowmen are encouraged to wear their sash to dinner as part of the Order’s purpose to “Recognize those who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives and through that recognition cause others to conduct themselves in a way that warrants similar recognition.” Bring your sash to camp!

After dinner on Tuesday, a public call-out ceremony will recognize those scouts most recently elected by their units. Unit leaders should complete the call-out form in the office no later than before evening flags on Tuesday. Out-of-council units are responsible for obtaining appropriate approval from their home lodges if they wish to participate.

Also on Tuesday evening, Jaccos Towne Lodge Arrowmen (or others with written approval from their home lodge) have the opportunity to complete their induction and seal their membership in the order by completing Brotherhood. Dues must be paid. Form and brotherhood fees are due to the office by evening flags on Tuesday.

All Brotherhood and Vigil members, from any lodge, are invited to spectate the Brotherhood ceremony and support the newest Brotherhood members.

All week, the OA Camp Leadership are available to support Arrowmen with dues payment, ordeal questions, updating personal information, etc. We are here to support you. Contact oa@ransburgbsa.org with any questions.

Volunteers

If your troop or individual Scouts are members of a dance or ceremonial team, they are invited to talk to the O.A. Coordinator about joining in the ceremonies while they are in camp.
