CHECK-IN

When arriving at Ransburg Scout Reservation, you will be greeted by a staff member at our gate. If you decide to arrive early beginning at 10:30am you will receive directions to proceed to your campsite with your trailer where you can begin to get settled. The intent of arriving prior to initial check-in, is to provide your Troop with a more flexible timetable on Sunday with more time to get settled into your campsite. Check-in will still occur at 1pm at the STEM Center.

To allow for a smooth check-in process your Troop should arrive in camp no later than 1pm and report to the STEM Shelter no later than 2pm. If there are circumstances that require later arrival, please communicate that need with our camp commissioner and we will set-up a separate check-in process for your Troop.

The first step of the check-in process is at the STEM Shelter and begins at 1:00pm. Please be sure that the Scoutmaster and SPL reports to the check-in table located at the STEM Shelter between 1pm and 2pm.

If you are new to Ransburg you will meet your staff guide at the STEM Shelter who will lead the troop through the camp check-in process. This will include medical checks, a tour of camp, a dining hall orientation, and a swimming ability check.

If you are returning to Ransburg, following initial check-in at the STEM Shelter you will receive instructions for the remainder of the self-guided check-in process including the locations and order of each stop. You can still request a staff guide if desired.
